Situation:

Lacking knowledge of the US IT job market, Dishant struggled and faced challenges getting a job after his bachelor’s degree.

Background:

Dishant Patel did his bachelor’s from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and his specialization was Management Information Systems which he completed in July 2020. After his bachelor’s, he started looking for a job as a fresher. But he was unable to get one. He says the reason for not finding the job was ‘not knowing exactly how the USA job market works and an inappropriate resume.’ His problem most probably doubled due to the widespread impact of Covid-19.

He tried approaching a few consultancies but was unhappy with their costs and services. Meanwhile, he had worked on a few short-term/contractual roles but wanted more specific ones.

In 2022, he joined GetAJob; back then, he was searching for a Java Developer role, and he got a job in 15 days, but due to personal reasons, he had to leave that job. Later, he rejoined us in 2023 with us and was placed with the Navy Federal Credit Union. He finds this a better place to grow and work; he gets a good amount of Training, where he learns new technologies like Azure data updates and related Azure tools and technologies. Also, other specific Training about data.

He is happy in his present job as I get a good package since they appreciate his abilities. He has a considerable number of Leaves available. And he has the complete chance to get a full-time position in the same organization after getting some experience with them.
